Lesson #1

"Thank You" Can Never Be Said Enough

The lesson here is that after all of these years, the talented people that I have had the honor of working with still have not received enough recognition.

It takes genius, talent, creativity, experience, hard work, commitment and collaboration to deliver head-turning provocative work that is intuitive, simple and on strategy.

This turned out to be more complicated than I thought it would be. Especially to do it solo. There is much to be said about the "Vibe" that is generated during the creative process and how problems can be better and more quickly solved with more than one brain or set of hands.

The following list is a very talented and special group of people. These are some of the Designers, Artists, Copywriters, eCommerce gurus, HTML Development professionals and other creative geniuses that I have had the pleasure of working with in the past. They continue to inspire me today.

I always knew their jobs were hard. Especially given the fact that these folks carry the end of the deadline. Many times these are the unsung heros that deliver the impossible. In the rush of more and faster with less, it often goes unnoticed that their front end partners deliver hand-offs late or incomplete. These guys still get the job done on time, on spec and with invention.

As you buzz through your day, pause the next time a project completed or a goal is met. Give some recognition. It really only takes as much effort as breathing.

My appreciation for those with the talent that I don't have continues to grow. No matter how many times, I ever said thank you, it certainly wasn't enough. You rock!!
